Despite the fact, that a school board draft exist in black and white (

th a workshop will be held to discuss the Emerson
repurposing plan. Some school board members still want us to believe that nothing is happening. As per Ms. Greer from the school board, here is her response via email on the subject of Emerson:
As was explained at the Board meeting, there has been no conversation about whether to close any school and no conversation about Emerson being closed. There has never been any idea to put any other school at Emerson. You are being manipulated and scared for no reason except politics.

I am outraged by Ms. Greer's comments about there being nothing (not even an idea)about closing Emerson. How dare she insult our intelligence that way and try to "cover up" a REALITY. To what extent will be "blindly" follow Rudy Crew? Thankfully Ms. Rivas-Logan admitted that in fact there was a proposal and we have the written school board document in black and white to prove it. This is good, in that we have "unveiled" who is who here and we need to bring this to light if we expect to have any JUST results (5 out of 9 votes). Please be sure and send an email to ALL of the school board members and hopefully we will make an impact! In the meantime we need to remain steadfast and united. As a parent of a fifth grader, I still an outraged by her lies and by the thought of an "A" school!
